The spaciousness of the rooms, the area of the gym and pool, the location, good wi fi
Basic breakfast, the toilet in the rooms is very deficient
Only thing great about this hotel is the location.
They had no record of our reservation. The front desk lady was rude and kept telling me there is a minimum 2 night stay and to make sure we keep it down. All in all didnt like the customer service at this hotel very rude and not organized what so ever.
Tidy, clean, comfortable rooms with good facilities. Pool/jacuzzi/gym. Efficient, friendly service. Having stayed at Rosellen Suites and Suites on Georgia, this was easily our favorite. Rosellen was a grubby dump by comparison! Nothing wrong with SoG but LH&S is a proper hotel with daily room servicing and Continental (cold) Breakfast, unlike SoG. Secure parking. Lots of shops and eateries nearby. And they offer 2 bedroom suites with sofabed which is handy if you have a family of 5 or 6.
No proper curtains in the lounge, so Sofabed users are woken by the light. But the 2-bed suite sleeps a family of up to 6, so it's a small price to pay.
Friendly staff, good value. Great room with glass on two sides, dishes included in full kitchen, great value for 2-bedroom suite.
Breakfast was a bit sparse for this scale of hotel, more like a comfort inn breakfast. Pool and spa were closed, but reopened the day we left. Careful, taxes are high -- so $20 per day parking really means $27/day.
The free shuttle the hotel supplied for anywhere downtown, it was excellent and saved us some money.
The breakfast was ok, out of the 4 hotels we stayed in where breakfast was included in the price this one had the poorest selection.
The staff was very kind and helpful throughout the stay. They were able to answer our questions and gave us many good destination ideas.
We came in on a Saturday and the location of the hotel was very close to many bars. There were close to 20 sirens through the night and didn't stop until 4 AM. Not recommended to come on Friday or Saturday night.
Spacious rooms worked well for family
The complimentary breakfast needed some variety
Apartments are very spacious and luxurious
Breakfast is fairly basic and does not measure up to the luxury status of the apartments. Swimming pool and spa also does not match the luxury of the apartments
I appreciated the beautiful corner suite with a view of False Creek on one side and a city view on the other. It was so accessible to the Vancouver Art Gallery with excellent restaurants; coffee bistros; and shopping. The front desk was very professional and helpful with our parking needs.
Khalid and staff were very appreciative of us as guests, helpful and polite. The suite was roomy enough for 5 people. A good stay in good location.
paying for parking but that is most places nowadays is it not?
The location was very good the size of the rooms was larg and there was all the facilitys at room and kitchen sice I was with my children this hotel was exelent to me in general.
Great location. 2 Bedroom suite worked out great for the family vacation. Included nice continental breakfast and free wireless internet.
Convenient location, reasonable price, good for small family, clean, good range of amenities and facilities.
Breakfast could include more hot food variety.
We have been staying at The Landis for the past 10 years on a regular basis and never had a bad experience. The management staff are very professional and friendly. The hotel is well positioned within easy walking distance to great eateries, shopping and other tourist locations. We will keep on staying there for as long as the need arises.
The common area carpets are in need of cleaning or replacing.
